Web Design Now Available in Local Format!

We Are Better By Design

Recently we did a website (web design and development) for a client and this was the response, “Oh my god, I thought you had to go to Toronto to get work like this done”. On one hand I was quite obviously flattered. On the other hand I was kind of disappointed to learn that so many businesses are unaware of the elite level web design services offered here in Greater Sudbury. I’m not just talking about Launchpad Creative. There are insanely talented web designers in this city. Don’t get me wrong, there is definitely a drastic spectrum of levels. Although I’m very competitive and want to work with great businesses in the city, if a company doesn’t work with us I would much rather see them go with another Sudbury web design company before heading down to Toronto.

There is a laundry list of advantages to going local with your Marketing or Web Design firm. I’ll give you the first examples I think of:

1) We know the lay of the land, physically and sociologically.

2) We are easy to communicate with, and are usually a 20 minute drive away from each other.

3) The money goes back into our community.

4) Going local creates opportunities to network with other businesses.

So as flattered by the above response as I am, it lets me know that we have to continue to educate the local business community on the benefits of working with us and/or our colleagues. The truth is – and you probably know it – some of the most talented people come from cities like ours. We are hard workers and we have a lot to prove.

Thanks for taking the time to read our blog. Hopefully it was informative and ifffffffffffffff you have any questions about anything at all I’m here to answer them.

Launch Pad was what got me to click on the link… With a name like that, I’m over here (Texas) thinking, “Oh, man this is sweet name – let’s check it out.” First thought, genuine photo = real deal. Very nice touch. Any way, your 4 points made about working with locals really hit home. They are general yet rock-solid and true. Yes, what’s true or false can be subjective but as someone who has several years of experience in self owned and operated business, it’s true. And I can appreciate that. It’s good to have a reminder every now and again. Nowadays, it’s too easy to lose sight of working locally. Your post gave me the hint again. For that, I thank you. Well, Epick Marketing thanks you and the whole Launch Pad crew.
Cool slanty idea and clean execution on the Graphic Con site.
Thanks again for posting such a simple and straight-to-the-point of working with local biz.
